This is a stool, not a chair - there is no backrest and no fabric. What it does instead is disappear. Collapsed it is a disc that slides down the side of a daypack, which is the difference between having a seat with you and sitting on a damp log.
What you're getting
Pull it up, twist it to lock
Grab both sides of the disc, pull it out to the height you want, then twist clockwise until the clasps click and hold. Push it back down the same way when you are done.
Rated to 150 kg
The manufacturer rates it to 150 kg, or 330 lbs. That is a real load for something that folds this small, and it comes from stacking rigid plastic rings rather than relying on fabric and hinges.
Collapses to about 25 cm across
Closed it is a flat disc roughly the diameter of a dinner plate. It goes in a pack side pocket, a boot, a boat locker or a bike pannier without arguing about it.
998 g with a carry strap
Just under a kilo, with a strap on the seat top so you can hang it off a pack. Light enough to take on the off-chance you will want to sit down.

Questions
Is it a chair?
No. It is a stool with no backrest and no arms. Our own product title has called it a chair, which is misleading, so we are calling it what it is. If you want to lean back, this is not the thing to buy.
How tall is it really?
Extended it stands about 46 cm, which is a normal seat height. Some of our older copy quoted a range starting at 7 cm; that was the collapsed thickness, not a seat height, and it should never have been written that way.
Will it hold me?
It is rated to 150 kg or 330 lbs by the manufacturer. Set it on firm level ground, make sure the twist lock has clicked home, and sit down rather than dropping onto it.
Is it stable on soft ground?
The base is a flat disc, so on grass or sand it will sink or rock like any flat-based stool. On firm ground it is fine. On soft ground put something flat under it.
